Religious instruction

This school operates an Ecumenical Religious Instruction Program. Students in years 1 - 4 are offered a 30 minute Christian based non-denominational religious instruction lesson each week. These classes are conducted throughout the week at designated times arranged at the beginning of each year. 

Title of authorised program:       Connect

Aims and goals of the program:

The Connect curriculum seeks to broaden children's' education by helping them develop their understanding and knowledge of Biblical principles, to build skills which will enhance their overall learning ability and to form an understanding of values and attitudes of faith, culture and the world today.

Below is an overview of the Christian Education Outcomes for all 3 learning stages.

Students are allocated to these classes in accordance with the information provided on the student enrolment form. This information remains operational unless the parent informs the school otherwise in writing.
 

Students who are not participating in religious instruction will undertake alternative activities at the same time as RI in a separate supervised location and subject matter is content already covered in student's class.
